basic instructions
Making the paper box toys is very simple, and you only need a few tools. A pair of scissors (or an x-acto knife), a ruler, a blunt knife (for scoring) and some paper glue.
The basic construction is always pretty much the same and very straightforward.
In a few steps you can make your paper box;
1. Print the pdf file (you can open and print pdf files with the Free Adobe Reader) I use 160g/m² paper.
2. Score the dotted lines. If you first run along the dotted lines with a blunt tool (like a butterknife, or an empty ballpoint pen) you can make clean, straight folds that will make construction easier, and the final result look much better.
3. Cut along the solid lines.
4. Fold your model.
5. Glue your model. Start glueing the sides with the most flaps, do the one with the least (or no) flaps last.
Do the body first, and then glue on the loose parts (if any).
Play with your selfmade toys, display them, and show them off!
